LHCA Spring Meeting
This week, May 7-9, is the 2014 Life and Health Compliance Association (LHCA) Spring Meeting being held in Arlington, VA. There are changes to the format this time, which are very exciting. In addition to the Q & A format, for which LHCA is so well-known, there are also topical sessions. Personally, I am pleased to be moderating the session with a panel of regulators, including two insurance examiners from the District of Columbia’s Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking, Colin Johnson (Health) and John Rielley (Life) and one regulator from Virginia’s State Corporation Commission, Insurance Division, Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Bob Grissom.
Each of the regulators will make an opening statement and share prepared remarks, after which they will take questions from the floor. I am really looking forward to the session and active LHCA member participation in the question and answer portion. If any attendees would like a question asked, but prefer to remain anonymous, there will be an option to submit a question during the earlier sessions on Thursday, but you can also email me directly at ccurrin@currincompliance.com.
